Filmmaker / Editor

We are in search of a talented Filmmaker/Editor to support our core team and our clients through inspired storytelling with film.

This is a great role for you if:

+ You love concepting, filming and editing film projects that impact and inspire people.
+ You are comfortable leading video production projects by yourself, including filming hands on or as a key part of a larger production.
+ You have the necessary tools and hard skills to produce beautiful, technically excellent and creatively inspiring film projects. ie: you can concept, shoot, edit, composite, colour grade, mix audio, and deliver video projects entirely on your own or as part of a larger team.
+ You have honed solid creative instincts and know how to pull people into a visual story, whether it is 10 seconds or 10 minutes long.
+ You have experience creating video projects for events, exhibits or spaces.
+ You are highly collaborative, can manage your time effectively and are a strong written communicator.

Production Designer (Contract)

We are in search of an experienced Production Designer to support our core design team.

This is a great role for you if:

+ You dream up incredible spaces, stages and environments and have the skills and experience to realize them alongside a multi-disciplinary production team.
+ You have a solid understanding of core design principles, lighting design, production technology, set construction materials and methods, and budgeting/costing out what you design.
+ You can visually communicate a design from concept sketches, to stylized renders, to final construction or production drawings.
+ You are a great listener, always seeking to understand the client, the project and the design challenge to guide your design work.
+ You are an optimistic problem solver; you enjoy the challenge of finding new and creative ways to solve design challenges.
+ You can work proficiently in Trimble Sketchup (required) and probably have proficiency in one or more other 3D drafting and modeling softwares such as Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Rhino, Maya, C4D, etc.
+ You understand project management and can effectively manage your own time while seeing the big picture of a whole production.
+ You prefer the flexibility of working remotely.

Lighting Programmer / Operator (Contract)

We are in search of an experienced Lighting programmer/operator to support our production and events team.

This is a great role for you if:

+ You have at least 3 years experience operating, programming or designing stage lighting in a live production context, specifically for concerts and other live music events.
+ You are proficient on GrandMA or Hog 3 or 4 consoles.
+ You can interpret abstract creative ideas and realize them with stage and environmental lighting.
+ You enjoy using your technical and creative skill set to bring a larger creative vision to life.
+ You can read and interpret lighting plots as well as create your own when communicating with other members of a production team.
+ You have experience and a functional knowledge of Vectorworks or another relevant CAD software.
+ You have experience with at least one type of lighting previsualization software (WYSIWYG, Capture, etc).
+ You have a solid understanding of safe rigging and electrical practices related to stage and environmental lighting.
+ You are able to work remotely and travel occasionally.

Motion Graphics Artist (Contract)

We are in search of a motion graphics artist to support our core team.

This is a great role for you if:

+ You have a minimum of 3 years motion graphics experience.
+ You are a visual thinker and love the challenge, process and creativity involved in communicating abstract ideas through motion design.
+ When you listen to music, attend a concert or watch a film, you imagine visuals that could enhance the experience. Bonus points if you have experience creating performance visuals for live music!
+ You are proficient in 2D animation techniques using Adobe After Effects and have a solid working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite to support creating motion graphics.
+ You are familiar with a 3D animation package of some sort (C4D, etc) and have at least a functional working knowledge of 3D graphic workflows.
+ You are committed to continual learning and self improvement in your craft, including staying current on design trends, tools, and techniques.
+ You care about creating work that matters, that impacts people, that inspires.
+ You are self-motivated, you can manage your time well and can work proactively to meet delivery deadlines.
+ You are interested in using motion design in non-traditional ways, in events, on stage and in other unique applications.
+ You are comfortable with remote work and collaboration
